Welcome back to Steep Planet. Did you notice the change? It has certainly been a long time since our last remodel. And needless to say we are very charged up about the new feel of the website. It was designed with you in mind. In these times of less is more, we redesigned each element to aid you in locating and purchasing the goods you want. We now have a one page checkout for quicker, easier transactions. As we have learned from the past, it is a work in progress, and will continue to evolve. 

We are still in Bend, OR. Why? Let’s start with the weather. If you don’t like it, wait a few minutes. Sunshine is the expected outlook daily. Next would be the beauty of it all. One can explore the high desert, volcanos, mountains, rivers, high lakes and the coast, all by bicycle. Well you can. You may want to plan two days if you are going to ride to the coast…and there’s golf too. And bowling.

The people who inhabit this region are athletic, outdoorsy, environmentally aware, and fun to play with. What better place to have a business, family and friends?

We will strive to have accurate information about the Manufacturer’s product by providing descriptions, images, video and product availability, all from the convenience and comfort of your own computer.

So here are other reasons you should take your time shopping at Steep Planet and peruse the aisles. We ship extremely fast. Usually same day by 1 PST. We are using USPS, UPS and FedEx as our shippers. They pick up daily, Saturdays too, and are already enroute to your neighborhood.  This saves you time, less gas emissions if you were to drive all over town looking for an IBEX sweater or a Castelli bibshort. So that’s a green bonus. Like green thinking too? We strive to re-use, recycle and reduce waste to virtually eliminate our carbon stain. We are striving to make these efforts daily. This thinking also crosses over into some of our buys for the store, like, how is it made, what are the factories doing with waste, and what are the materials? Wool, Bamboo, Hemp, Organic Cotton, Recycled Poly etc. Some of the companys are performing miracles with sustainable fabrics, re-cycled materials and design.
