The Patagonia Rubicon Pants are for hard-charging descents and high-flying aerials. They're made from recycled fabrics and feature a durable, 2-layer waterproof/breathable shell with excellent resistance to gravity-oriented locales. Lined above the knees with brushed grid mesh to provide insulation, efficient wicking and snag-free layering; lower legs are lined with smooth mesh for mobility. Low-profile thigh vents, easily adjustable below a hip belt, regulate warm air on the uphills. Scuff guards and fully featured gaiters protect from abrasion and have gripper elastic, cam buckles and stretchy, water-repellent fabric. At the waist, a soft tricot lining glides smoothly against skin, and an internal hook-and-loop adjustment fine-tunes the fit. With two hand pockets (with a brushed lining), two thigh pockets and a rear yoke design that creates a custom shape and fit. Regular fit through the waist; roomy below the knees.
